Exploring and understanding the world’s towns and cities is a passionate commitment that has been the focus of the London-based practice of planners, urban designers, master-planners and architects for the last 40 years. TFP Farrells has had the privilege to study and work in leading major world cities around the globe and has continually taken a leading role in shaping debate on architecture and urban design. TFP established its foothold in Hong Kong in early 1990, since then, TFP has involved in a number of infrastructural projects in Hong Kong such as KCRC East Rail Extension, KCRC Tsuen Wan West Station, KCRC Northern Link/Express Rail Link in West Kowloon Station, MTRC Kowloon Station Masterplan, KCRC Causeway Bay station, MTRC Kennedy Town feasibility study, etc.
Conveying a sensitivity to people, culture and history in shaping the physical character of a place and its evolving effects upon the urban fabric, TFP Farrells shares their experiences, vision and beliefs in this publication UK > HK Farrells Placemaking from London to Hong Kong and Beyond through place-making, iconic building, and railway related projects across the Asia-Pacific region.
