About the Artist
Carrie Chau was born and raised up in Hong Kong in the 70's. She spent her uni life in the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong and in the Kent Institute of Art & Design in the United Kingdom.
She plays and used to play different roles in her life:
naughty daughter, crazy girlfriend, freelance illustrator and merchandiser. And finally she settled down in being a Graphic Designer and Illustrator in 'HOMELESS', the lifestyle concept shop in Hong Kong.
Having her queer explanation of efficiency, she believes that the reason to learn something new is truly for the laziness in the future. Drawing with her left hand and writing with her right hand might explain more on this, since she can write with both hands at the same time when teacher asked her to copy "I wouldn't be lazy in the future" 500 times for punishment. And that's why she can now draw with both hands at the same time in order to earn a living and in order to allocate more time for sleeping.
