王靖在倫敦中央聖馬丁藝術設計學院修畢舞台設計，他的音樂受倫敦充沛的藍調、民謠到搖滾音樂環境洗練，但民謠唱
作人如Nick Drake、近期的Kings of Convenience及Damien Rice等給他的薰陶尤甚。
二零零四年，王靖得到通利原音樂隊比賽亞軍及最佳原創歌曲獎、Heartbeat Acoustic Band Competition的冠軍。
兩年來，他積極參與街頭表演，在旺角、銅鑼灣及尖沙咀演唱自己寫的曲。另一方面，又是自己品牌Daydream
Nation的時裝設計師，亦不時為PIP劇團設計舞台及服裝。
王靖最近成為人山人海旗下歌手，並籌備推出第一張大碟。
Trained as a Theatre Designer and Director in London's Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, Jing Wong has
honed his music style by rich music influences in London from Blues to Folk to Rock... but his main influences
are Folk singer-song writers like Nick Drake and more recently Kings of Convenience and even Damien Rice.
Jing has won awards in Tom Lee's Sound Base Acoustic Band competition 2004 as First-runner up and Best Original Song...
and also HEARTBEAT Acoustic Band competition's Champion.
In the past 2 years he has been active as a Street Performer playing his original songs on the streets of Mong Kok,
Causeway Bay and Tsim Sha Tsui. His is also a Fashion Designer for his brand Daydream Nation, and do Stage and
Costume design for PIP Theatre regularly.
He is now signed to People Mountain People Sea and is now planning for the release of his first album.
