Maximilian Hecker 簡介
“One Day” is a romantic pop and indie love album that best shown Hecker’s unique airy pop and chamber pop music. Featuring hit single “Summerwaste“ with heavy synth layers applied which make itself a stand out from the album, as well as recalling fans’ faded memories of early Hecker’s music at the legendary German electronic label Kitty-Yo. Like a mixture of Air and Travis, single Summerwaste conjures up images of the sexiness of “Infinite Love Songs”; and the sweetest moment at “ I’ll Be A Virgin, I’ll Be A Mountain“ which surely arouses fans to have a taste of the new album. Prior to european release, limited 2CD version of “One Day” comes with Hecker’s previously unreleased materials and demo songs. Recommended songs: The Space That You’re In and This Poison Called love (Home In A town That Has Sunk). About Maximilian Hecker www.myspace.com/maximilianhecker Discovering his own talents in making music, Maximilian Hecker resided from western German provincial area to Berlin in 1998. Bewildered by Maximilian’s craft, the berlin based electronica label Kitty-yo released his debut record “Infinite Love Songs” in October 2001 to instant success in Germany and throughout Europe. Starting that day, it was clear that Maximilian Hecker had far outgrown the pavements of Berlin, and he began touring his music to venues all over the continent with his band members. For the first time, Maximilian Hecker’s faithful band - Johannes Feige on electric guitar, Sebastian Vogel on bass guitar and Snorre Schwarz on drums - undertook 13 intense rehearsals and five studio sessions in the creative recording process that made “One Day”. Noting how much the band members had bonded on their tours of Europe and Asia, Maximilian saw that it was time to benefit from these roots of trust and friendship, the pillars of constant success and artistic growth. Produced by long time collborator Guy Sternberg, “One Day“ sums up Hecker’s extensive musical influences from Sigur Ros, Bob Dylan, Nick Drake to Radiohead, Ryan Adams and even Oasis. |
